  • Annual Salary Range: VPS6 $125,893 - $168,473 per annum plus superannuation
  • Employment Type:  Ongoing, Full Time (flexibility available)
  • Usual Work Location: Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)

 

About the Opportunity

Working in the Transport Communications and experience division, the Senior Manager Communications and Engagement oversees the development of stakeholder and community engagement strategies. Working within the high-performance Operations - Metropolitan team, your work will centre on supporting an integrated view of transport network operations and disruptions. 

Driving standards and continuous improvement and advocating for community and customer outcomes during major works, you will influence the industry wide approach to communications.

The successful candidate will demonstrate skills in critical thinking and problem solving; stakeholder management, particularly in complex environments; and the ability to influence and build buy-in. Experience leading in a values-based organisation is essential, as we are an organisation driven by the needs of the community. 

Your collaborative work style, resilience and exceptional communication skills will be the foundation of your career at DoT. 

Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent experience, in communications, engagement, public relations or education is mandatory.
