About the Role

This role will oversee the development of ‘Health of the Public Transport’ reporting that will analyse the performance of the public transport franchises from multiple angles to drive a continued focus on improving public transport franchise contract outcomes.

  • Coordinate across multiple areas within DTP to develop performance reporting and metrics that improve understanding of franchise operator performance from multiple angles.
  • Deliver health of the franchise reporting across all modes of Public Transport.
  • Develop and implement consistent frameworks for the effective identification and management of issues and risks across the Public Transport Franchises.
  • Works alongside Risk and Governance Managers to help drive improvements to governance practices and meetings, focusing strategic risks and leveraging lead performance indicators.
  • Lead the development and implementation of action plans to drive a continuous improvement agenda across Public Transport that leverages technology.
  • Oversee the development of best practice controls, standards, work processes and procedures necessary to ensure the effective management and governance of the Public Transport Franchise Operators.
  • Assess Franchise compliance against contractual governance plans and frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory / Desirable

  • Previous experience / exposure working in Public Transport.
  • Experience in developing interactive performance reporting.
  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical data teams
