  • Draw on your experience of high-value commercial engagement and leverage data-driven insights to lead the transformation of Court Services Victoria's contract management function, and work to maximise value in Courts Group service and supply contracts through enhanced approaches to contract administration and governance, performance management, and financial control.

About Us

Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. 

Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Commercial Division, the senior Manager Contracts and Commercial Analytics leads a team of contract managers and commercial analysts, responsible for driving value in Courts Group service and supply contracts, including through enhanced approaches to contract administration and governance, performance management, and financial controls.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining effective and efficient contract management processes to maximise value from commercial engagements
  • Building positive relationships with senior Courts Group stakeholders and key suppliers to support collaboration and improved outcomes
  • Providing expert advice to support contract negotiation, including relating to development of service level agreements, benchmarks, and performance mechanisms
  • Leverage data analytics to proactively monitor and derive insights from third-party spend data, and work with category managers and stakeholders to identify and action new opportunities

About You

  • Have a strong grasp on commercial contract structures, terms, and strategy, and of associated contract and financial management frameworks and systems
  • Be confident in leading the development and implementation of fit-for-purpose contract management policies and processes
  • Have demonstrated experience in driving positive commercial outcomes through contract negotiation and lifecycle management to maximise value for money and mitigate risk and value leakage
