About us

Fines and Enforcement Services (FES) is responsible for the collection and enforcement of fines and civil debt judgements in Victoria.

The Strategic Insights and Information (SII) team within FES is responsible for analysing and understanding business activities to drive better decisions by providing key decision-makers with high quality data and reporting.

About the role

As the Senior Manager, Strategic Insights and Information, you will lead the end to end analysis and reporting function. You will develop business critical strategies and drive strong analytic approaches to aid data driven decision-making.

In the role, you will:

  • drive the transition to a more mature, data-driven organisation
  • engage, influence and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure consistency in reporting and analytic approach
  • lead the delivery of the FES digital strategy
  • drive improvements by identifying and implementing initiatives and projects to utilise more sophisticated and advanced analytical techniques
  • build and strengthen relationships and actively represent FES in cross-portfolio and reporting committees and with other partners and key stakeholders.

About you

Along with strong stakeholder management and organisational awareness, as our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • demonstrated senior level working experience supporting ministerial and Departmental Executive functions and Parliamentary and Departmental processes
  • significant work experience and understanding of data analysis & business intelligence
  • knowledge of the functions and operations of FES, with an understanding of the end-to-end infringement process
  • knowledge of relevant legislation including the Infringements Act 2006, Sheriff Act 2009 and Road Safety Act 1986
  • significant experience in the delivery of key digital strategies and initiatives.
