As the largest healthcare provider in East Gippsland, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) provides services to a rapidly growing population.  The BRHS Medical Workforce provides services across a broad spectrum of care including our Emergency Department which currently receives approximately 22,000 varied presentations per year.

We are seeking experienced FACEM's or Senior Medical Officers with advanced emergency skills to join our Emergency team. In this role you will provide senior medical support to the BRHS Emergency Department by leading, supervising and educating Interns, Hospital Medical Officers and Registrars. The vision of the Emergency Department is to be a secondment site for ACEM training as well as Rural Generalist training in Emergency Medicine with delivery of the Emergency Medicine Certificate/Diploma. Non-clinical time will be rostered in order to achieve these goals.
