About the role;

As the Senior Clinican / Family Therapist you will provide clinical expertise in leadership in family therapy and leadership and support operationally in an inspiring model of care for children and their families.

A regular day will see you;

  • Provide high quality, trauma informed, family centred interventions, including family and group therapy,
  • work collaboratively with other agencies to provide integrated treatment and a safe and coordinated discharge process
  • Lead and support other clinicians , including ensuring that any staffing concerns or incident management issues are responded to and reported.

About you;

To be successful in this role you will bring;

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with an ability to quickly build rapport with patients and stakeholders at all levels
  • A relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline (psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy or speech therapy) with current registration with AHPRA where applicable
  • Working knowledge of the Victorian Public Mental Health care system, child protection system, Victorian Mental Health Royal Commission and resource allocation.
