Senior Nurse - Aged Psychiatry Assessment and Treatment Team

• An integral leadership role with The Royal Melbourne Hospital – NorthWestern Mental Health Aged Persons Mental Health Program


• Mental Health Nurse Grade 4, Full time ongoing role, 80hrs per fortnight with ADO


• Based in Bundoora


• Support and mentorship from the Royal Melbourne Hospital and NorthWestern Mental Health with a sophisticated learning structure and continuing professional development

Your new team

Northern APATT is a multi-disciplinary team providing community based mental health treatment and care to persons 65 years and over in the north and north east areas of Melbourne. The team has a recovery focus with clinicians working collaboratively with consumers and their families/carers to improve their mental health and well-being within the community.

About you

• A passionate clinical leader driven by best practice and have strong organisational and leadership skills


• Ability to plan and develop services that respond to the needs of consumers, carers and staff


• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to address priority issues, along with providing care to consumers with complex care needs


• You meet the key selection criteria as outlined in the Position Description
