An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Officer-Stakeholder Engagement rolewith Service Victoria.

Service Victoria is an Administrative Office within the Department of Premier & Cabinet charged with simplifying, improving and modernising essential government transactions and delivering customer service.  

 

We are working hard to deliver a customer service system around what Victorians want and need, rather than what works for government. We know people want easier access to government transactions, including online options. 

 

Customer feedback about our service has been overwhelmingly positive with satisfaction rated at around 96 percent.  

 

We are a customer-centric organisation with functional expertise in customer experience, product development, public policy, agile delivery, information technology, service management and corporate governance.  

 

We have a mature digital services platform of contemporary cloud-based infrastructure, technical architecture and scalable and reusable common capabilities, with real-time integration into agency legacy systems.  

 

We will continue to progressively add new transactions and new functionality to existing capabilities, including digital licences, digital proof of identity, online accounts and payments, with a particular focus on our mobile app.  

 

 

 

What a Senior Officer-Stakeholder Engagement does at Service Victoria:

 

The Senior Officer Stakeholder Engagement works across the Victorian government to support the stakeholder engagement lead and to develop and support ongoing relationship with partner agencies . The position provides an outstanding opportunity to contribute public sector reform through building a better understanding of Stakeholder requirements and coordinating the development of better service delivery to Victorians.  

 

 

 

On your first day you'll have:

 

  • Support the identification and assessment for new opportunities at Service Victoria, in relation to Stakeholder expectations, drivers, constraints and opportunities.   
  • Co-ordinate the development of proposals and offers to Stakeholder agencies and ensure expectations are managed both internally and externally in terms of scope and delivery through the proposals and offers. 
  • Support and work as a team player across the wider Service Victoria organisation as the work transitions from proposal stage into project and then onto service management. 
  • Support the delivery of the Service Victoria Stakeholder engagement startegy and help refine and report against the strategy 
  • Manage the collection of data regarding transactions to support refinement of the Strategy 
  • Follow and refine standard processes regarding transaction on boarding as documented through the Service Improvement Framework  
  • Lead engagement with the Stakeholder and connect subject matter experts to enable delivery, by initiation, management and maintainance of working relationships with stakeholders.  
  • Represent Service Victoria on inter-Stakeholder committees and working groups
