An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic policy adviser with enthusiasm and skill at policy development, narrative storytelling, and composing policy documents with compelling logic and reasoning.

Infrastructure Victoria is an independent statutory authority which provides expert advice and guides decision-making on Victoria's infrastructure needs and priorities.

The Senior Policy Adviser will work collaboratively on a variety of strategic, advisory, and research projects and policy analyses on infrastructure matters. They will produce quality reports and briefing documents that present analysis and expert advice to Infrastructure Victoria's Board, CEO, and seniors executives, and will clearly and concisely compose written and visual information to engage audiences on highly complex issues. The successful applicant will also assist Infrastructure Victoria to maintain effective stakeholder relationships, within and outside government, whilst contributing to other products and responsibilities within the organisation as required.

To be successful in this role you will exhibit strong skills in policy and research synthesis and analysis, including drawing upon multiple sources to formulate and clearly communicate policy options and recommendations. You will also demonstrate a talent for superior quality writing, using clear and concise language in different formats, have strong interpersonal skills, innovative thinking, and the ability to exercise sound judgement when interacting with stakeholders. We will highly regard a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and significant specialist knowledge in infrastructure matters.
