DPC's Cyber Security branch has an exciting short term (3 month) opportunity for a Senior Policy Advisor to assist the team in delivering whole-of-government cyber security reform.

The Cyber Security branch sits within the Digital Victoria group and is responsible for leading the Whole of Victorian Government response to cyber challenges and creating the governments vision of a Cyber Safe Victoria.

The Senior Policy Advisor will be responsible for developing cabinet submissions and supporting policy development initiatives to progress cyber security initiatives as part of Victoria's digital transformation.

The successful candidate will use their strong policy and critical thinking skills and contextual awareness to navigate a dynamic environment. 

Technical knowledge/experience is not required to be successful in this role, however project management skills would be greatly beneficial to help ensure advice is timely and well-targeted and initiatives are delivered successfully.
