Join Victoria Legal Aid in the role of Senior Policy and Projects Manager, providing high level strategic advice and support to the Executive Director.

About the role:
In this role you will manage the strategic policy, service design and project functions of the Regions and Service Delivery directorate, and be relied on to provide sound strategic advice and support to the Executive Director in the exercise of their responsibilities.

You will work closely with our Regional Associate Directors and Managing Lawyers to assist the implementation of place-based initiatives that can be replicated elsewhere in Victoria and work to strengthen the contribution made by our regional and outer-metropolitan offices to wider organisational planning and strategic advocacy.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on an impactful and forward looking role in VLAs Regions and Service Delivery directorate and work closely with our various offices across the state. The role will be required to undertake some work from Melbourne, however flexible arrangements will be considered.

About you:
You are experienced in successfully leading policy development and project implementation, and undertake this work with a keen focus on collaboration. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to work with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes and influence the adoption of new directions and approaches.

Crucial to your success will be your highly developed organisational skills, experience in meeting tight deadlines while under pressure, and ability to provide strong strategic advice and support to multiple roles at once.
