Do you have experience in the human services field such as policy development in family services, maternal and child health, parenting services or early childhood and/or a relevant tertiary qualification in policy development related to human services and/or early childhood education experience or regulatory policy. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic high-performing team implementing regional operational policy initiatives and projects in the regulation and quality assessment of education and care services in the Quality Assessment and Regulation Division of the Department of Education and Training. Location: Melbourne CBD office and flexible working arrangements

Senior Policy and Projects Officer

This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic high-performing team implementing regional operational policy initiatives and projects in the regulation and quality assessment of education and care services in the Quality Assessment and Regulation Division of the Department of Education and Training.   

Location: Melbourne CBD office and flexible working arrangements

The successful applicant will play a key role in developing and implementing key early childhood policy initiatives, in partnership with the early childhood sector. You will join a passionate, high performing team responsible for a varied mix of work, including project implementation, overarching strategic policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and monitoring. 

To succeed in this role, you will excel in a fast-paced and changing environment, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills.  You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of policy development and project management and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
