The Registration, Screening and Crime Prevention Division includes:
The Community Crime Prevention Unit (CCPU) works in partnership with government and non-government agencies to help build the capacity of local communities to implement effective responses to local crime issues and promote safe, inclusive, and confident communities. The CCPU supports initiatives that address the root causes of crime, including social disadvantage, as well as providing funding to communities for practical crime prevention measures.
About the Role:
The role of Senior Policy and Projects Officer will:
Specifically, the role will be responsible for leading and supporting a range of policy, research, and project deliverables that aim to further protect crowded places and improve public capability in protecting crowded places. This work requires someone with strong and demonstrable stakeholder engagement and management, planning and organising, policy design, and project management skills.
