We are seeking a talented Senior Policy Officer to help shape policy for whole of government digital citizen identity management here at DPC.

Digital Victoria is a brand-new government group that will drive digital transformation in Victoria. It will define Victoria's first ever digital strategy and champion the use of data and new technologies, for the benefit of all Victorians.

As the Senior Policy Officer, you will lead the provision of expert evidence-based policy analysis and provide advice to senior DPC stakeholders on complex digital policy and governance issues.

Reporting to the Lead, Identity and Transactions Reform you will be responsible for supporting interdepartmental committees and cross jurisdictional forums as well as working on budgetary, policy and legislative issues related to Service Victoria.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in policy research and analysis
  • Strong conceptual and critical analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field such as public policy, law, science or technology
