The successful applicant will help lead and contribute to the development of energy policy that supports the development of Victoria’s Renewable Energy Zones.

The Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) Delivery Division of DELWP's Energy Group is looking to recruit a senior policy officer to lead and contribute to developing energy policy to support the development of REZs and an orderly energy transition.

This is an exciting role in a fast paced environment, where you will get the opportunity to be at the cutting edge of policy development and help develop Victoria's renewable energy future.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification such as law, public policy or economics is preferred.
  • Experience in Government and policy development would be valued.
  • Experience and interest in energy and electricity networks would be valued.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2024.
