The North East Link Program will connect the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network, while increasing the capacity of the Eastern Freeway. It will slash travel times, get trucks off local roads and link key growth areas in the north and South-east.

About the opportunity

Be part of a transformative infrastructure project for Victoria, with an exciting role focusing on Traffic and Interface in the Central Delivery team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, Interface you will provide valuable contributions on project activities that will benefit the constructability and usability of Victoria's largest road transport project to date.

Day to day responsibilities may include partnering with technical advisory services, providing advice on complex interface challenges, leading the negotiation of claims and variations with contractors and contributing to meetings with service authorities and municipal councils. You will also play a key role in collaborating with all other project teams to ensure that the secondary package's program aligns to environmental approvals, safety management plans and remains commercially sound.

Travel and time spent at our Abbotsford and Heidelberg site office will be a requirement of this position.

About you:

You are a high performer who possesses a relevant engineering qualification and a Victorian drivers' licence. You are motivated to succeed in a dynamic environment that provides you with the opportunity to be continually challenged and grow in your career.

Furthermore, you possess:

• Experience in providing delivery solutions that meet scope, time and cost obligations across road, railway or tunnelling projects from a client or contractor perspective
• The capacity to independently identify technical issues, undertake technical investigations, and provide recommendations and reports detailing appropriate resolutions
• A strong understanding of occupational health & safety requirements, environmental responsibilities, and commercial obligations in the context of a transport project
