Role: Senior Project Lead (until 31 December 2021)

Position Summary: 

  • Support Victoria's public health response to COVID-19 by leading and delivering projects within the Epidemiology and Analysis team (Locations).
  • Support the Locations Pod to coordinate projects and initiatives related to the Investigation of COVID-19 outbreaks across specific Victorian locations.
  • Coordinate with other teams across the ICCOM Branch, the broader department and key external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the full life cycle of in-scope projects in the Epidemiology and Analysis (Locations) portfolio, to meet departmental and branch objectives.
  • Deliver required activities of projects or sub-projects and be responsible for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within the timeline parameters. Activities may include development of project and workplans / terms of reference, process flows, progress reports, information sharing agreements, privacy impact assessments, risk registers, coordination and facilitation of meetings with pod team members and other stakeholders within and external to Intelligence, Case Contact and Outbreak Management (ICCOM).
  • Liaise with ICCOM and external stakeholders reporting and technical teams to support data collection and analysis, including documentation of reporting requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate the successful delivery and completion of the projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
  • Support research, analysis, and scoping of possible new projects based on newly identified outcomes and outputs required by the department and/or branch
  • Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security, privacy and governance policies and requirements.
  • Proactively manages project components and tasks in line with the overall agreed strategic direction of travel and takes the initiative to drive projects forward.
