About us

This role sits within the Design and Sustainable Planning (DSP) group of the Built Environment division. DSP is responsible for advising on and facilitation of good court building design, planning and sustainability for Victorian Courts and Tribunals. DSP does this by operating continuously throughout the lifecycle of CSV's built assets, actively engaging and effectively communicating across all jurisdictions to collaboratively develop and deliver proactive solutions. In this context, good design is legible, functional, safe and sustainable for all users.

About the role

This Senior Project Manager role is an exciting opportunity to be part of major capital projects to Court buildings across Victoria. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of a significant and complex projects to scheduled timeframes and budget whilst maintaining a strong culture of quality. The role requires project management experience with the ability to identify and support strong design outcomes and positive relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

An important component of the role is the coordination of feasibility studies to inform funding bids in a public sector context. This role will work closely with to deliver projects and initiatives successfully and in alignment with Court Services Victoria objectives.

The DSP team is currently Working from Home with some site visits as required. These working conditions may change depending on DHHS recommendations.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated understanding of building design, governance and construction in a Courts context. You will also have strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation experience, an understanding of project management processes and critical thinking skills.
