THE ROLE

As a Senior Project Officer you will be a driven and motivated team player in the Equality Programs team with strong project management skills. You will deliver work across a variety of programs, projects, communities and community organisations, with a focus on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) sector.

The successful candidate will be well organised who can support team members to manage and monitor grant contractual arrangements and develop strong stakeholder relationships across Victoria. You will also drive and monitor grant program activity and contribute to the development of high-quality processes that lead to timely program delivery.

This role will suit someone looking for team leadership opportunities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  1. Develop and manage processes that support the efficient delivery of a broad range of projects and grants programs, including the development and management of appropriate administrative systems.
  2. In line with the Grants Management Framework, lead the support and advice to internal and external stakeholders on appropriate grants delivery.
  3. Lead and provide support to the Manager on grants management, including advice on budgets, project planning, stakeholder management, timing and risk management.
