POSITION SUMMARY:

Senior Project Officer - Best Place

The Senior Project Officer, Best Place program, works within the team to deliver on the strategic priorities of the unit.  Reporting to the Project Coordinator, Best Place, the Senior Project Officer will lead nominated key elements of the program in both data analysis and project delivery. The Best Place agenda aims to ensure that low-volume procedures are undertaken only in centres where they can be performed safely.

The team is seeking an individual, to support and lead projects that are fast paced, requiring capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively, and build relationships with key people. You will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders and operate with a high level of professionalism, initiative and collaboration

  • An experienced analyst who has worked with healthcare data?
  • A person with good project management skills, who enjoys project planning and analysing information?
  • A strong communicator who can effectively lead projects and manage expert stakeholder groups?
  • Experienced in working in highly sensitive and dynamic environments and able to adapt to changing and often challenging priorities?
