The Senior Project Officer - Coastal Drone Pilot will work with DELWP, partner agencies, and academic institutions to coordinate fieldwork activities within the Victorian Coastal Monitoring Program (VCMP), including drone-based beach surveying.
We are seeking an experience drone pilot to manage survey protocols and the collection of field imagery data for the Victorian Coastal Monitoring Program. The role will lead the piloting of coastal monitoring surveys across Victoria's iconic beaches and coastline. You will be responsible for ensuring support staff and citizen scientists have necessary training, licensing, quality control and occupational health of safety standards. The skills we require also include proficiency with data processing and application of imagery processing software, coding languages (e.g., Python) and GIS software.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
