POSITION SUMMARY:

Senior Project Officer - Health Services Data

The Senior Project Officer – Health Services Data plays a key advisory role to support colleagues in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division, understand and meet their emerging data and information requirements, and lead the future direction of data collections supporting the implementation of the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System.

The successful candidate will have excellent conceptual and analytical skills, attention to detail, effective presentation, communication and stakeholder liaison skills (preferably in the health or not for profit sector), work well within a team to achieve team goals, and a demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing demands.

Are you:

  • Excellent at relationship building and have experience of working with a range of stakeholders including mental health or alcohol and other drug (AOD) service or providers and government?
  • Able to communicate technical information to the understanding of non-technical stakeholders?
  • Experienced in undertaking project management, have well-developed analysis skills and developing solutions to complex issues?
  • Committed to driving and supporting improvement in the Victorian MH sector?
