If you want to drive a couple of statewide projects that will deliver benefits for a range of DEECA programs and help support key delivery partners to do natural resource management and reporting better, then read on. We are a small collaborative team that focuses on integrated and consistent approaches to catchment management and stewardship. If you get this role you will make a difference in how programs deliver, collect and store data and information. You will maintain the Statewide NRM standards for outputs and data collection. You will continue to build our central capacity to collect and store these data and information.
You will need to know about spatial data, systems and tools that DEECA uses to demonstrate delivery of policy and programs to government and the broader community. You will also need to know how to explain and translate that knowledge into a "value-adding" proposition for leadership within DEECA and key partners and stakeholders.
As a person, you will be driven but collaborative and you will be keen to bring people along and work with them to get to good solutions. You will be a happy to work within a supportive team but capable of just getting things done.
