The Eating Disorder Service based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of three specialist tertiary care services.   The Eating Disorders Program provides expert multidisciplinary care to consumers from Western Metropolitan Melbourne and the Western part of Victoria and includes inpatient and outpatient care to those over the age of 18.

Your new role:

• Co-located with the Neuropsychiatry Unit the Eating Disorders Service provides expert multidisciplinary care to consumers from across Victoria 


• This position offers rich opportunities to specialise in the field of Eating Disorders, supporting the provision of care within the inpatient and outpatient setting


• An opportunity to work alongside a passionate and dedicated team

About you:

• A minimum 5 years post-graduate experience and a high level of expertise in the delivery of mental health services


• Experience in the application of psychological and behavioural interventions for eating disorders.


• Ability to apply consultancy skills within the program, to other mental health facilities and to community agencies.


• You have a passion for caring and making a genuine difference in the lives of public mental health consumers.


• Capacity to work autonomously, identify and contribute to areas of improvement.
