About Casey Area Mental Health Service and the ICP Team

The Intensive Care Package Team is a new service being developed at Casey Area Mental Health Service providing the opportunity for the successful applicant to be involved in the development of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team designed to provide targeted clinical support to clients experiencing ongoing mental health challenges within the Casey/Cardinia community.  The team will base its work on the Intensive Community Mental Health Packages Guidelines released by the DHHS in March 2019 with the aim of seeing a group of clinicians with specialized clinical skill work to support clients currently engaged with the service but experiencing complex mental health needs complicated by recurring acute episodes of care and at risk of repeat admissions without increased intensive interventions.  Examples of the possible interventions may include but not be limited to AOD support, CBT, DBT, Family Therapy including single session work and Peer support.
