What You Will Be Doing

The Senior Research Fellow - Brain Ageing Group will provide advanced data analysis services and support for externally and internally funded research projects in healthy ageing being conducted by senior researchers within the Academic Unit at Peninsula Health.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage data and quality checking of imaging data acquired for research studies
• Perform advanced image analysis of MRI data acquired for research studies in documented and reproducible fashion
• Collate results of analysis and communicate with researchers
• Assist with supervising junior research staff and students, and submission of ethics and grant applications

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Have a PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in analysis of MRI data for research studies.
• Track record in creating medical image analysis tools or pipelines.
• Strong written communication skills, demonstrated by scientific publications
• Demonstrated contribution to open-source software
