The Senior Risk and Operations Advisor is key role within VHHSBA's Project Management Office and is responsible for: developing, implementing and supporting the adoption of effective project/operational risk and change management standards and practices across VHHSBA's diverse asset base and project portfolio; supporting project teams with operational risk and change management subject matter expertise to help drive improved accountability and project performance; promoting a risk/exceptions based approach to Project Management within the Authority to support delivery of enhanced project outcomes; driving capability uplift and project adoption of and compliance with VHHSBA's Project Management Framework (PMF); support continuous improvement of the PMF to ensure alignment to leading practise in the areas of risk and change management; and, identifying and escalating critical risks/exceptions to the Project Standards, Capability and Continuous Improvement Manager, as required and providing expert advice on appropriate mitigation and management.

Are you

  • An experienced risk management professional with a capital projects and infrastructure delivery background?
  • Driven, agile and detail-oriented with experience managing complex stakeholder interfaces and conflicting project priorities?
  • Able effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels to promote buy-in and improve organisational outcomes?
