Senior Speech Pathologist - Cognitive Dementia & Memory Service (CDAMS)
‘First of its kind’ learning opportunity for an experienced Speech Pathologist to be supported into a senior CDAMS position

About the role
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative clinician to join our CDAMS clinic on a permanent part time basis. This position will suit a senior or experienced grade 2 speech pathologist seeking to progress to a grade 3 role and work within a CDAMS clinic, with a relevant clinical background. You will be supported with supervision and CDAMS-specific training from a leading expert in the area of communication and swallowing difficulties resulting from neurocognitive illness. You will be assisted to develop expertise through a newly established CDAMS speech pathology learning pathway.
You will enjoy a diverse adult caseload managing a wide range of speech, language, dementia and swallowing disorders delivered in various settings including home visits and telehealth. As part of the multidisciplinary team you will work closely with clients and their families.
To support your growth and success in this role, you will work closely with the CDAMS Team Leader, profession Senior Clinicians and a professional mentor. You will have access to clinical supervision from the Grade 4 Clinical Lead and will be supported to participate in professional development, quality improvement & research.
