About MRPV

Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) was established to deliver a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of key road projects across Victoria, including new roads, road widenings, new bridges and major freeway upgrades. MRPV manages complex and strategically important road projects from business case development through to completion connecting local communities and supporting Victoria's growing economy.

The Role

Due to our workload as a result of the organisations stable growth, we're on the lookout for two Talent Acquisition stars! 1x 3-year fixed term & 1x 12-month fixed term.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Adviser, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and attraction for a range of key projects, volume recruitment, niche roles and leadership positions across MRPV 

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive the end to end recruitment process with candidates and hiring managers
  • Develop and promote Talent Acquisition initiatives to improve efficiencies
  • Strategic source and engage best talent for key positions at MRPV
  • Implement frameworks and tools to develop internal search capability;
  • Conducting market mapping for critical roles within the MRPV, utilising techniques such as networking, social media, referrals and headhunting.
  • Championing and developing strategic sourcing initiatives to support diversity across the organisation

About you

You will have:

  • Extensive recruitment experience (either within agency or internal - ideally both) with a strong understanding of value add recruitment – not just ticking a box!
  • Strong desire to partner with businesses and not just as a 'transactional recruiter'
  • Evidence of pipelining external talent for executive and critical roles, and those roles with a recognised skill shortage in the market.
  • A strong capability in managing stakeholders and taking initiative;
  • Experience within the construction/infrastructure sector or related industries is highly desirable
