POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Technical Integration Lead - Health Information Exchange (HIE) provides technical expertise supporting the definition, design, testing and implementation of a complex state-wide Pathology HIE platform. The HIE Platform will enable the secure sharing of pathology results across the Victorian Public Health Sector by integrating with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and authorised health service clinical systems including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Patient Administration System (PAS).

This role will work with a range of internal and external technical stakeholders to define, design and implement the HIE solution and integrate with pathology LIS and health service clinical systems to meet quality outcomes. This role requires a dynamic and experienced individual who can effectively be self-managed to collect, analyse and define pathology and clinical technical and system needs for this high-profile initiative.

  • Experienced in working collaboratively in a project team and co-ordinating with contracted vendors?
  • Able to coordinate and work with a large number of stakeholders?
  • Experienced with enterprise clinical systems and national eHealth services?
