POSITION SUMMARY


An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Tenancy and Property Officer on an ongoing, full-time basis in the Client Support & Housing Services Unit.

Tenancy and Property Officers play a vital role in supporting the delivery of client-centered services to individuals and families who seek housing assistance or reside in public housing.

This role is part of a network of community workers and organisations that share the responsibility for working with vulnerable people to promote and support their wellbeing.

 

  • Coaching and mentoring.
  • Making appropriate referrals to internal and external support providers.
  • Report writing and assessments such as the Housing Tool Box.
  • Ministerial, memorandums, dot points and appeals.
  • Liaising with stakeholders.
  • Allocation of work to team members.
  • Implementing and introducing functions to the team.

  • Able to synthesis information to produce responses tailored to a range of audiences that clearly and concisely communicate pertinent information?
  • Interested in analysing business processes and implementing improvements to achieve client outcomes and business objectives?
