We are seeking applications from candidates who have high level communication skills, and are motivated and passionate about streamlined access to services. The Service Access Worker should have a sound knowledge of medical terminology, health services and agencies in the Grampians region, and have proficient computer skills.

 

Service Access Worker (2 ongoing positions)

  • Position 1 - 40 hours per week
  • Position 2 - 16 hours per week

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Grampians Health is inviting applications from driven and proactive candidates to join our dynamic team as a Service Access Worker. In this role, you will assist in coordinating a client's journey through Primary Care Services. This includes completion of the intake process; encompassing initial contact, registration, and initial needs identification for clients. The Service Access Worker ensures clients are offered the most appropriate services based on their needs and presenting issues.   

We are seeking applications from candidates who have high level communication skills, and are motivated and passionate about streamlined access to services. The Service Access Worker should have a sound knowledge of medical terminology, health services and agencies in the Grampians region, and have proficient computer skills.

The successful applicant will be part of the Primary Care team at Stawell Regional Health, including another Service Access Worker, and over twenty Allied Health professionals. 

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have proven effective communication skills and ability to relate to people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
  • You display excellent customer service and telephone manner skills.
  • You demonstrate excellent all-round IT and data entry skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
  • You have the ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
  • You show high attention to detail.
  • You are able to demonstrate initiative, time management skills and flexibility.
  • You have a positive, friendly, solutions focused attitude.
