Service Manager

Aged Persons Aged Psychiatry Assessment and Treatment Team (APATT)

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN4)/Allied Health (P4, SW4, OT4)


• Full time, 40hrs/wk with monthly ADO


• Northern APATT.Based at Bundoora Campus Plenty Road

Your new team:

Northwest APATT is a multi-disciplinary team providing community based mental health treatment and care to persons usually 65 years and over in the Northern/ North East areas of Melbourne. The team has a recovery focus with clinicians working collaboratively with consumers and their families/carers to improve their mental health and well-being within the community.

• An integral leadership role with North Western Mental Health Aged Persons Mental Health Program.


• Responsible for the operational, financial and clinical leadership and management of the team.


• Drive and implement a quality process that meets applicable standards and key performance indicators.


• Manage Human Resources matters and manage the team budget and report on variances as requested.

About you:

• Experienced Senior Nurse Grade 4, Occupational Therapist Grade 4, Social Worker Grade 4, or Psychologist Grade 4


• A passionate clinical leader driven by best practice and have strong organisational and leadership skills.


• Plan and develop services that respond to the needs of consumers, carers and staff.


• Effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.


• Significant experience in management of health service delivery within aged care and / or mental health.
