An exciting opportunity exists within the Eastern Health Learning and Teaching Directorate for a passionate Clinical Simulation Technician/Clinical Support Nurse to join our dynamic team.  This role is pivotal in driving our Eastern Health simulation strategy. You will be working with a team of clinical experts to deliver inter-professional simulation and training, with a focus on patient deterioration and Basic Life support.

This role will work in collaboration with the Director Learning and Teaching, Specialist and Advanced Practice and the Simulation Coordinator and will have the capacity to engage with relevant multidisciplinary groups.  If your focus is on excellence in clinical care and customer service and you would like to be part of our cohesive and caring team, we would welcome your application.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Current Australia registration with AHPRA


• Relevant qualification in Nursing or Para-medicine


• Experience and expertise in the support of clinical simulation scenarios.


• Demonstrated education or simulation experience (desirable)


• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with advanced skills in critical thinking, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation


• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills


• The ability to work both autonomously and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team


• A proven history in driving effective change management


• Proficient computer literacy


• Current Victorian driver’s license
