About the Role and You


Monash Health, Casey Hospital Social Work department is looking for an experienced Grade 2 social worker to join the team working across the adult ward areas of the hospital. The position is a parental leave temporary full-time position based at the Casey Hospital until September 2021.


The work provides an opportunity to showcase your skills in working with people from diverse backgrounds, across a range of diagnostic groups, using skills in assessment, care planning, decision-making and discharge planning.


You will be a member of a dynamic team with the opportunity to work in a setting assisting adult patient cohorts from general medicine, general surgery, emergency department and other specialty areas as required. The focus is on psychosocial assessments, complex discharge planning and family care planning. Experience in a hospital or other health setting is required.


You must be eligible for AASW membership including continuing professional education and hold a current Victorian driver’s license and Working with Children Check.
