We are seeking a suitably qualified Social Worker to provide high quality social work services across all areas of Dhelkaya Health, with a primary focus on the busy inpatient units (acute, subacute, Transition Care Program, Residential Aged Care). Permanent Part-Time position – 76 hours per fortnight
About the role
We are seeking a suitably qualified Social Worker to provide high quality social work services across all areas of Dhelkaya Health, with a primary focus on the busy inpatient units (acute, subacute, Transition Care Program, Residential Aged Care). The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, have an awareness and understanding of the health service environment and be skilled at working in a multidisciplinary team.
In this part time position, you will provide a social work service which includes psychosocial assessment, casework, advocacy, discharge planning, conducting family meetings, networking and patient education.
All applicants should hold relevant tertiary qualifications, current police check and be eligible for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
