About the facility 


PARC is a subacute mental health program supporting people aged 16-64 years through residential, day program and outreach packages of care.


The PARC program is part of the Community Rehabilitation Facility who supports people with a lived experience of mental ill-health to grow in their understanding of their experiences, establish current strengths and develop new skills to manage their health and wellbeing.


The PARC program in undergoing a rare opportunity for growth, and will see an increase in the multidisciplinary presence in the program. PARC is a dynamic program, and hold constant service improvement for the betterment of our community in high regard.


About the role 


The Social Worker will form part of a therapeutic team delivering group, family and individual interventions to the PARC client group. The Social Worker will also have a specific focus on people with complex needs, including working with the community case manager/primary nurses/multidisciplinary team and relevant community services on issues of housing, employment, financial matters, family (including dependent children), peer relationships and social isolation due to the impact of trauma, stigma and discrimination. The Social Worker will operate within a multidisciplinary framework contributing to assessment and treatment planning within the service.
