An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Speech pathologist, Allied Health Professional to work as part of a local multidisciplinary team of Student Support Services Psychologists, Speech Pathologists and Social Workers to provide comprehensive student support services to improve student outcomes

Speech Pathologist

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Speech pathologist, Allied Health Professional to work as part of a local multidisciplinary team of Student Support Services Psychologists, Speech Pathologists and Social Workers to provide comprehensive student support services to improve student outcomes. The AH3 Speech Pathologist position is in South Eastern Victoria Region- Outer Gippsland Are for a fixed term full time position. The position is currently located in the Sale DET office with the Wellington Network team but, as an Area position, the successful applicant can be requested to undertake work across the Outer Gippsland Area if required. Student Support Services (SSS) assist children and young people facing a range of barriers to learning to achieve their educational and developmental potential through the provision of a range of strategies and specialised support at the individual, group, school and network levels.
The successful applicant will provide a comprehensive range of Speech Pathology service to school aged students to improve student wellbeing and learning. Applicants will have highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to liaise with a range of people in the education community and support services.
