What You Will Be Doing

An exciting opportunity has become available for a permanent, full time, Grade 1 Speech Pathologist. Commencing at The Mornington Centre within Adult services, with potential opportunity to work at other sites within Peninsula Health.

The Speech Pathology team provides evidence-based, person-centred care to patients with a broad range of communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders, within an multidisciplinary model of care.

The Grade 1 Speech Pathologist supports clinical education in conjunction with Grade 2/Senior Speech Pathologists, and participates in quality improvement activity relating to Speech Pathology services as well as multidisciplinary teams.
Competence with adult service provision and an ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary health care team are essential to this position, as is a current drivers license and eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership.
