A great opportunity exists for a motivated Speech Pathologist to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic chance to progress your career by gaining invaluable experience in a regional health service whilst enjoying the natural assets offered in beautiful East Gippsland.  New graduates are encouraged to apply.

The Position:

In this role you will work with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, education and treatment to both inpatients and adult outpatients with communication and swallowing disorders.  You will deliver efficient and effective Speech Pathology services that support improved health outcomes for clients as part of a multidisciplinary and integrated approach to the delivery of contemporary health services. Our core services include acute inpatients, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatients and community health programs including pulmonary rehabilitation group.

The Team:

Our small group of Speech Pathologists are part of our dedicated and friendly Allied Health team.  The Allied Health team at BRHS are a close-knit team who provide a supportive professional and social environment to assist your transition to BRHS. 

What you need:

To perform this role you need to have a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and recent experience in either an Acute hospital setting, Rehabilitation Inpatients or Community Outpatients.  You also will have the ability to provide person centred care and goal focused interventions and effective communication, teamwork  and organisational skills.
