The Stakeholder Engagement and Communications (SEC) Officer supports and enhances VIT's ability to communicate and interact effectively with its stakeholders.
We are looking for an energetic and creative communications guru to join the SEC Branch for a 6-month, fixed term project.
Reporting to the SEC Manager, this role will play a pivotal part in communicating with schools and applicants with regards to teacher registration requirements. This role will assist schools manage teacher registration matters during a period of critical workforce shortage issues through a series of informative communication campaigns.
The SEC Officer role offers an outstanding career opportunity for a professional who is passionate about using their expertise and creativity to support VIT in its regulation of Victorian teachers to raise the quality of teaching and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
The role will also support the continued growth of VIT's communications through digital media tools, as well as support the day-to-day operations of the SEC Branch.

About you
As an experienced communications officer, you will have sound experience in delivering effective communication campaigns, and ideally a passion for child safety and experience working with the education sector.
You will have a highly organised approach and a proven track record in delivering small-scale webinars, creating basic instructional videos and social media skills.
