About the Team

Transport Services delivers transport services across all modes that provides a single user interface to the transport network.

 

About the Role

The role utilises extensive knowledge in road access planning to provide written responses to planning permit applications affecting the operation of the arterial road and public transport network of various complexities and supports other Statutory Referral Officers in the review of such applications.

 

We are looking for someone with the following skills and attributes:

  • Exercise professional judgement in the application of statutory planning processes and DoT policies and respond to planning referrals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, peers and professional teams.
  • Contribute to the preparation of submissions for VCAT and Panel hearings.
  • Able to exercise professional judgement to draft quality correspondence, reports and briefs.
  • Ability to proactively identify planning and organising issues that may impact on outcomes and escalate appropriately.
  • Contribute effectively to team meetings, discussions and activities.
