• Lead the development of Solar Victoria’s industry engagement activities

  • Location: Melbourne or Morwell We are seeking an experienced professional to join and support Solar Victoria’s targeted rebate programs.

Reporting to the Manager, Industry Engagement, the Strategic Engagement Lead will lead the development and delivery of high-level, innovative and impactful engagement activities on behalf of Solar Victoria and its leadership team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills, provide sound advice and must be able to confidently negotiate, drive influence and build key relationships, across a wide range of audiences.

The successful candidate will draw on their significant experience managing a range of stakeholders in fast paced environments to steward the successful delivery of Solar Victoria's targeted rebates, and further supporting Victoria's transition to a clean energy future.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

• A strong background in stakeholder engagement delivery and theory to support the development and implementation of Solar Victoria's engagement strategy and support the organisation.
• High level experience in industry relations and stakeholder engagement with a demonstrated ability to prepare and implement strategies.
• High level ability to proactively identify major communications and industry relations risks, opportunities and issues, and developing effective mitigation strategies as required.
• Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and work productively, respectfully and sensitively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders often with competing priorities and interests.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
