Exciting opportunity to lead the resourcing function for a values-driven organisation.
About the role:
Reporting to the Director, People and Culture (P&C), and as a member of the P&C management team, you will provide high level advice to senior executives on strategic resourcing, demographics, workforce metrics and trends. You will lead a small team overseeing progressive and fit for purpose recruitment strategies to support general recruitment and deliver VLA's Clerkship, Graduate and New Lawyer pathway programs.
You will also lead and manage the delivery of priority actions and recruitment initiatives that support diversity and inclusion strategies and contribute to the development of resourcing plans that support VLA's broader Diversity and Inclusion Framework, including responsibility for goals outlined in VLA's Aboriginal Employment Strategy.
About you:
You are an enthusiastic and engaging leader with experience managing, leading and motivating a team to deliver results. You think systemically and laterally in providing workforce strategies and solutions, while simultaneously evolving effective operational recruitment and resourcing processes. You can influence, negotiate, inspire confidence, build rapport and drive change with a demonstrated understanding of workforce planning methodologies and experience in providing an internal end-to-end recruitment function.
Ideally, your experience within a complex service environment has provided you with an understanding of public sector workforce planning and recruitment. Most importantly, you are looking for an opportunity to bring your experience and contribute as part of a supportive team that is passionate about their role in building and supporting a values-aligned workforce.
