About the role:

This is an exciting career opportunity for an individual to join IBAC Assessment & Review Team as a Review Support Officer on a Full-time 12-month Fixed term contract to 30th June 2022.

Reporting to the Team Leader - Assessment & Review Team, this role will be responsible for:

The administrative support function of the team by managing enquiries from a diverse range of stakeholders including; government, private, public and community sectors.

The role is also responsible for providing the provision of written correspondence and communication to acknowledge the receipt and progress of the IBAC review lifecycle.

The Review Support Officer escalates complex enquiries in a timely manner and provides general administrative support to the Team Leader and members of the Review team.

It is essential that the Review Support Officer is client focussed and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure outcomes are achieved.

Duties include:

Initial response and escalation of review related enquiries received by IBAC relating to corruption or serious misconduct by public officers and government bodies, including police personnel conduct.

Answer and make telephone calls regarding reviews in progress in particular updating external stakeholders on the status of a review and redirect incoming calls from existing complainants and public bodies to relevant Senior Review & Review officers.

Undertake and contribute regular quality assurance and data integrity focused activity in IBAC case management system. Update review case information in IBAC case management system, based on the nature of the contact with IBAC.

Prepare and provide formal correspondence to enquiries and where applicable review outcomes as well as re-directing other enquiries to the appropriate designation.

This role is a great opportunity for an individual who has:

Experience in using case management systems and complaints management and/or internal review systems is advantageous.

Experience in the use of records management systems and other business applications.

Qualifications and/or experience demonstrating the ability to think critically and analytically are preferable.
