About the role

An opportunity has become available for an experienced nurse to work as part of the Elective Admission Team as the Surgical Improvement Lead. In this role, you will work with the Nurse Manager of Elective Admissions to review, design and plan improved clinical pathways within telective surgery with a focus on Total Hip Replacements, Total Knee Replacements and Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy general surgery cases by focusing on pre and post rehabilitation/ care processes.

We are looking for

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse 
  • Experience in redesigning service delivery models and processes including clinical pathway development 
  • Experience and knowedge regarding Elective Surgery
