Team Leader - Early Psychosis Team

  • Full Time/Part Time as Team leader until Feb 2023, then onging position in CYMHS. 

  • Box Hill location

  • $113,640.80 - $136,244 p.a. dependent on experience (pro rata for part time) as team leader then at Grade of ongoing role.

About the role

The early psychosis team provides mental health assessment and treatment for young people who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis as well as support for their families or carers. The team leader is part of the senior leadership team who will provide clinical and operational leadership. The team leader also holds a clinical caseload and works in partnership with consumers, families and other service providers to provide high quality mental health assessments, case management and treatment for young people with a serious mental illness.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Minimum of four years post qualification clinical experience in child and youth mental

  • Demonstrated ability in providing clinical care and evidence based interventions for adolescents and youth and their families presenting with First Episode Psychosis preferably in a community mental health setting

  • Demonstrated commitment to supervised practice and ongoing professional development

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience, with a focus on supporting positive team culture.

  • A strong commitment to high quality care
