Team Leader Service Assurance

 

  • Annual Salary Range: $90,263 - $109,818 + super

Job Summary:

The role is responsible for the safety our customers and staff from a physical, mental, financial and legal perspective though education, risk management, compliance and assurance activities relating to Customer Services' including occupational health and safety, building and data security management, customer privacy, business continuity planning, Payment Card Industry audits and risk management.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Design, develop and implement an internal audit program across all Customer Services' channels with critical links to risk, safety and compliance mitigation
  • Undertake assurance/compliance assessments in line with the internal audit program (including compliance against Payment Card Industry standards across registration and licensing internal channels) to mitigate risk and develop best practice processes and standards
    • Exercise independent judgement to operational problem solving in the resolution of occupational health and safety, building and security management, business continuity planning and assurance/compliance issues and the recommendations of standards
    • Collaboratively work with key stakeholders to communicate occupational health and safety, building and security management, business continuity planning and assurance/compliance expectations and standards, including occupational health and safety reporting obligations.
    • Coordinate and tracks external audit recommendations and responses including providing advice on recommendations
    • Proactively maintain currency of knowledge of internal corporate occupational health and safety, building and security management, business continuity planning and assurance/compliance requirements and external industry best practice

Requirements:

  • Experience relevant to the capabilities of the role
  • Experience with ISO9001 quality certification
  • Experience in auditing, compliance, risk management and OH&S functions
  • A current and valid driver licence

 

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Will exercise professional independent judgement to co coordinates and track external audit recommendations and responses including providing advice on recommendations
  2. Have the ability to develop ‘best practice' policies and practices that are continuously improved
  3. Have strong team leadership experience?

 

The ideal candidate Exercise professional independent judgement in understanding and implementing VicRoads risk management guidelines to effectively achieve business objectives

Ability to complete internal audits in the areas of data integrity, security, safety and PCI obligations and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

Develop intelligence reports to scope complex compliance problems where policy, procedure and precedent do not exist

Provide sound and accurate advice to key stakeholders on risk management issues and VicRoads risk management guidelines under broad supervision
