The opportunity:

The Technical Specialist will work on complex level project activities and will have the responsibility of ensuring that high level design principles and standards are maintained, and projects are delivered on-time. The role sits within the Network & Design implementation team which has a strong focus on ensure the Data Centre network technologies are reliable and robust.

As the successful candidate, you will be able to carry out the following:

• Work on the Design and implementation of Complex Data Centre Network infrastructure and Customer LAN/WAN projects.
• Deliver high level customer service to internal and external clients
• Assist the NOC by participating in the On-call Support roster.

Ideally you will have expertise and experience working within:

• Data Centre Switching & Routing specifically Cisco IOS/NX-OS/ Routing protocols including MPLS  Software Defined Networking Cisco ACI and VMware NSX, NSX-t 
• Citrix NetScaler ADC and F5 Load Balancing
• Experience in Juniper SRX , Cisco ASA , Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls
• Cloud networking including AWS, Azure and integration with on-premises environments
• Cisco Wireless and Cisco ISE/Prime/DNA/CMX/MSE exposure
• Some knowledge of Programming (Python/Ansible) and network automation

The role would suite and experienced Networks Specialist who is collaborative, likes having varied complex work and can enrich our customers experience. It will be initially a 24 Month fixed-term engagement, the successful candidate will become part of the VPS and have access to annual leave and sick leave.
