Telehealth Team Leader

About the role

An opportunity exists in Scheduling Team in Specialist Clinics at Eastern Health for an experienced passionate and enthusiastic admin manager to oversee the telehealth coordinators in managing access to Easter Health service via this model. The Scheduling Team in Specialist clinics at Eastern health (based at BoxHill hospital) is a busy and dynamic environment focus on the ever changing needs of the community accessing specialist clinics. This role is focused on managing a group of clerical staff which supports the delivery of safe and comprehensive care via telemedicine. The role is critical to problem-solving the ever-changing needs of clinic and patients in use of the most up to date technology to digitalise health care delivery in meeting the changing needs of patients from the community.

Responsibilities include:

-          Oversee team directing telehealth clinic bookings including use of electronic referral manager

-          Doctors technical support and problem solving

-          Coordination of team activity to improve Patient and clinician interface

-          Oversee program work associated with Telehealth email enquiry, management and escalation wherever necessary

-          Oversee Telehealth Appointment scheduling/coordination

-          Working closely with medical teams/head of units/liaison nurses

  • Interest in supporting a patient centred environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
